At the beginning of this year, while on a wave of creative inspiration, I decided to make a zine of my experience of 2024. Thus, this is my attempt to chronicle the journey of what was seen, touched, heard and thought. My wish is to take you along through all the colours I encountered and to create space for my mind to spill out in an unjudged way. Each "step" is meant to encapsulate a 2 month-ish-long chunk of the year.
This is a project for my own sanity.
"When all you have is a hammer, all your problems look like nails". Don't ask me who said that first, but ever since I heard it from the lips of Abigail Thorne, intrigue has taken me by the balls. It urges me to not get caught up in finding an answer and to rather observe, to let it pass me by, to let it leave a mark. With this little project, I will try my best to document the nails and other passers-by.
